About Authority Engines
We build personalized email and website systems for coaches, consultants, creators, and nonprofits — automating the reader experience, personalizing donor stewardship, and making sure the right message, the right content, and the right next step is presented to every reader, customer, or donor.
Over the last 5 years, we’ve developed one of the most powerful methods for personalized marketing — what we call the Creator Engine System — recognized by the founders of Kit and RightMessage and respected across the industry.
I’m opening two part-time contract roles…
Role #1: Client Success Project Manager (Remote, Contract, North America Time Zone)
Role Summary
With new projects coming in, we’re hiring a Client Success Project Manager who brings clarity, structure, and confident communication to every engagement.
This is a remote, contract-only role with long-term potential. Because you’ll communicate directly with clients, you must be available during Canadian/US business hours and comfortable leading client-facing video calls.
If you thrive on clear communication, strong organization, and keeping fast-moving projects steady, you’ll be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication
- Lead kickoff calls and client update calls in North American time zones.
- Run weekly or biweekly internal syncs with Brad.
- Communicate asynchronously through Slack and Basecamp.
- Translate strategic direction into clear, actionable steps.
- Present timelines, updates, and priorities with confidence.
Project Management
- Maintain accurate timelines and milestone tracking inside Basecamp.
- Ensure clients deliver required assets and information on schedule.
- Coordinate with the Personalization Systems Implementor and external specialists.
- Keep projects moving smoothly with no chaos or missed details.
- Protect scope and prevent scope creep.
Quality & Systems Support
- Perform non-technical UX-level QA to ensure flows make sense.
- Maintain and improve internal structure across SOPs, templates, and naming conventions.
- Document and update SOPs for all recurring processes — clarity, consistency, and continuous improvement are core expectations.
- Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Support incremental refinement with every project.
About You
- Excellent communicator with strong writing and interpersonal skills.
- Naturally organized with a sharp sense of clarity and follow-through.
- Calm, steady presence in client conversations.
- Fast learner who absorbs our methodology quickly.
- Self-starter who learns independently, solves problems without hand-holding, and takes ownership of outcomes.
- Able to use AI intelligently — not as a one-shot shortcut, but as a tool for drafting communication, structuring tasks, improving clarity, and assisting with system documentation.
- Strong documentation habits and a respect for structured systems.
- Someone who values craftsmanship, precision, and behind-the-scenes excellence.
- Not running a personal brand, creator business, selling courses, or operating a competing agency or freelance practice in adjacent services.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kit, RightMessage, Basecamp, Trello, Zapier, Notion, Slack
- Familiarity with segmentation, funnels, personalization concepts, or CRM systems.
- Experience working with nonprofits, creators, or expert-led organizations.

- Your budget expectations — hourly or project rate range.
- Confirm you can work remotely during North American business hours
That’s it.
We’ll reply within 3 business days if there’s a fit.
Role #2: Automations Specialist (RightMessage + Kit)
Role Summary
As our project load increases, we are hiring a Automations Specialist — a technical specialist who wants to become one of the most advanced RightMessage + Kit implementers in the world.
This is a remote, contract-only role with long-term potential. You will work directly inside our systems, building, improving, and documenting the personalization infrastructure that powers our clients’ growth.
If you love clean logic, precision, problem-solving, and building systems that behave perfectly, you will thrive here.
Key Responsibilities
RightMessage Implementation & Architecture
- Build and configure segmentation surveys, multi-step experiences, targeting rules, and personalized on-site experiences using our internal frameworks.
- Implement dynamic headlines, personalized content blocks, conditional CTAs, and adaptive website messaging according to our methodology.
- Apply our existing RightMessage system architecture rather than building from scratch, while still identifying opportunities for refinement.
- Test every variation, fallback, display rule, and edge-case interaction to ensure flawless behaviour.
Kit (ConvertKit) Implementation
- Build and maintain advanced visual automations using our proven structure and logic patterns.
- Implement Liquid-powered conditional logic for snippets, CTA rotation blocks, dynamic newsletter content, and adaptive messaging.
- Ensure all Liquid conditionals are Kit?safe, email?friendly, and structured for future reuse.
- Apply our existing automation frameworks, continuously improving them as you work.
- Document all logic, naming conventions, and framework updates as SOPs.
Cross-Tool Automation
- Configure and maintain integrations using Zapier or Make.
- Ensure clean data routing, idempotent workflows, and reliable field syncing.
- Maintain logs, troubleshoot errors, and test integration logic.
QA, Documentation, and Continuous Improvement
- Test every conditional path using structured test subscriber profiles.
- Document each workflow and logic pattern as reusable SOPs.
- Improve internal templates, naming conventions, and system structure.
- Ensure every new project upgrades our internal personalization framework.
What We’re Looking For
- Detail-obsessed systems thinker who loves logic, structure, and precision.
- Fast learner willing to master RightMessage and Kit at an elite level — you must arrive with real experience using these tools or closely related platforms. Total beginners will not be a fit.
- Comfortable writing, reading, and debugging Liquid conditionals.
- Strong documentation habits — SOP creation and refinement are core expectations, not optional.
- Self-starter who learns independently, digs into documentation, solves problems without hand-holding, and improves systems proactively.
- Able to use AI as a professional tool, not a shortcut — meaning: multi-step prompting, refining outputs, enforcing constraints, and using AI to strengthen logic and code, not generate sloppy one-shot answers.
- Someone who will use our training, frameworks, and Loom walkthroughs as a springboard — not a crutch.
- Willing to invest in your own mastery when needed (courses, training, testing environments).
- Calm, focused operator who enjoys deep work and clean implementations.
- Someone who values craftsmanship and intends to surpass Brad’s technical skill over time.
- Not a creator, influencer, personal-brand builder, or course seller.
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with personalization, segmentation, CRO, or lifecycle marketing.
- Familiarity with HTML or templating languages.
- Experience working with expert-led businesses or mission-driven organizations.
- Proficiency or willingness to quickly develop proficiency in other ecosystem tools, such as HubSpot, Customer.io, or similar platforms when projects require it.

- One Liquid code example — paste a snippet you’ve written (conditional logic, dynamic content, anything that shows you can actually code)
- Your budget expectations — hourly or project rate range (realistic numbers only)
- Confirm you can work remotely with async communication via Slack/Basecamp
We’ll reply within 3 business days if there’s a fit.
