About Brad
I grew up in a small northern town in Canada. After I got married I went to school for interactive design, picked up freelance projects on the side, and then took what I thought was the real job: developer at a studio in Calgary.
It paid the bills, but I knew I wasn't meant to stay. My wife reminded me of the gifts God gave me and pushed me to think bigger. In 2012 I quit and went out on my own.
Freelancing wasn't smooth. Some months were better than I ever expected and some months I barely scraped by. I kept going. I started teaching and making content, and it slowly came together: more than $3M sold online, 600,000 students on Udemy, brand partnerships including Wix Studio, and a creative studio of my own.
2025 knocked me flat. We lost our daughter, Rose. I nearly lost my dad. And my biggest partnership ended, which took a big piece of our income with it. It reminded me that business is there to serve faith and family, not status, and that nothing is certain.
I live in Alberta with my wife and our kids.
